Paneer and Egg Biryani is one of the most favored of recent trending meals in the world. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Paneer and Egg Biryani is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.
Those who miss out on chicken biryani or mutton biryani will surely love this recipe. The fried eggs and paneer blends together and gives an excellent taste with the flavour of spices. You can prepare this recipe with just normal rice.

The ingredients needed to make Paneer and Egg Biryani:
Make ready For the Paneer and Egg Sabzi
Take 6 boiled eggs
Prepare 6 eggs
Get 1 cup ( leftover paneer masala sabji (optional you can make also or skip also)
Make ready 1 cup chopped onions
Make ready 4 tbsp oil
Prepare 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
Take 2 tbsp Biryani masala
Make ready 1 tsp green chilli paste
Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
Make ready 1/4 tsp turmeric
Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala
Get to taste Salt
Take 2 tsp besan
Make ready For Rice
Prepare 2 cup long grain rice (preferably Basmati)
Take 1 tsp oil
Prepare 1 bay leaf
Take 1 petal of star anise
Make ready 1 inch cinnamon
Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
Get Pinch salt
Make ready 4-5 black pepper
Take 4-5 cloves
Take For optional garnish
Take Pinch saffron soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk
Take As needed Golden fried onions
Take As needed Chopped mint leaves

Instructions to make Paneer and Egg Biryani:
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pot. This is to help roast spices a well as to help prevent the rice from sticking to each other.
Add the whole spices (listed under ingredients for rice) and sauté for 1/2 a min.
Add in the long grain rice; mix the rice well so that all the grains are coated well with oil.
Add water, cover and cook.
Heat 3 tbsp oil in another pan, add the chopped onions and Sauté for 5 min
Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, red chilli salt, kashmiri mirch, biryani masala and mix well and sauté for a min or two.
Beat 6 eggs and mix well and cook for 5 min.
While you are cooking the egg bhurji, do keep an eye on the rice that is cooking.
When the rice is almost done, not full cooked, turn off the heat. Strain the rice and set aside.
Take a biryani pot, Fill alternate layers of rice and add spread panner sabzi and layer of rice and spread the egg burji. The topmost layer has to be rice.
Take a another pan, add 1 tsp oil, salt, mirch and besan and saute for 2 min and add full boiled egg and saute for 2 min. - Now place the fried eggs on top of the rice.
Garnish the rice with the saffron milk and a strand of saffron, fried onions and chopped mint leaves.
Serve Hot with a side of Raita (yogurt-vegetable mixture)
