  1. Wash the dal nicely and soak it for at least 4 hrs.
  2. After 4 hrs wash the dal once again and drain the water completely. In a grinder add dal,ginger, green chillies and ajwain and grind..if required addd1 -2 spoons of water.
  3. Remove the batter in a bowl. Add chopped onions, chopped coriander, chopped tomatoes, grated carrot,jeera, hint, salt, red chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Take a bread slice and spread the batter evenly on one side of bread.
  5. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.Take a pan and apply some oil and keep the batter applied side of bread on pan.
  6. Cook on low flame till nice golden in colour.Flip and cook from other side too by putting few drops of oil. I have applied the batter on one side but you can apply on both sides.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or tomato ketchup. Yummy and healthy breakfast is ready..
