Make ready 1 can chickpea 560gms…or… (soak 1/2 kg chickpeas overnight next day boil with sufficient water with 1 tsp baking soda,1 tsp salt)
Prepare 2 medium potatoes
Take 1 onion
Make ready 2 blanche tomatoes
Take 3 green chillies
Take 1 tbsn black tea
Take 2 bay leaves
Prepare 2 cinnamon sticks
Take 2 cardamom
Make ready 1 black cardamom
Prepare Dry masala:
Take 2tbsn chole masala
Prepare 2 tbsn red chilli powder
Prepare 1 tbsn coriander powder
Prepare 1 tsp turmeric
Prepare 1 tsp salt
Take 1 tsp carrom seeds
Prepare 3 tbsn oil
Take TEMPERING
Prepare 4 tbsn ghee
Get 3 sliced garlic
Take 3 red chillies
Make ready 1 tbsn chole masala
Make ready 1 tsp asafoedida powder
Take Bhature:
Get 2 cups all-purpose flour
Get 2 tbsn semolina
Take 1 tbsn curd
Make ready 1 tsp salt
Make ready 1 tsp baking powder
Take 1 cup hot water from boiled potatoes and some warm water
Chole Bhature is a dish that is a hit at any party. My version of chole is however, ready in minutes. I enjoy eating hot chole with tikkis, bhaturas, kulcha or simply topped on a slice of bread. Chole Bhature recipe with step by step photos.
Steps to make Chole Bhature π:
I'm use a canned chickpeas.first heat 2 cups of water add 1 tbsn of black tea with bay leaves,cardamom, black cardamom and stick of cinnamon…boil for 5 mins.. strain and save the water to add in gravy.
Grind the masala(pic1)heat oil,then add 1 tsp of carrom seeds(ajwain)let it crackle then add the grind masala
Now add chole masala(any brand) red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric and saute for few minutes
Now add the chickpeas and mix,then add grated boiled potatoes and saute few seconds then add the tea strain water and now mix well and Cook on medium flame…crush some chickpeas.
Heat ghee… add in red chilli,garlic,chole masala,asafoedida powder..when garlic is turned slightly brown temper the chickpeas curry,garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Knead the dough as per Ingredients as above-mentioned…keep in a warm place for 5 mins…make small dough balls,roll it into flat bread
