Instructions to make Baked Sago Pudding:
  1. Preheat oven to 160°C
  2. Soak Sago in Water for 30 minutes
  3. Boil milk & stick cinnamon on high heat until boiling , reduce heat & remove stick cinnamon & add sago & pinch of salt
  4. Stiring continously so that sago doesn't stick or burn , cook for 15 minutes
  5. Remove from heat , add sugar and vanilla essence
  6. Add butter and eggs and mix throughly
  7. Pour into greased baking dish & sift cinnamon on top
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes

By now mixture should be thick, with glassy beads of sago showing through. Gula Melaka is the sugar from a coconut tree.
