  1. For kala chana pulao - Boil the black gram with two cup of water in a pressure cooker for five mins.
  2. Once cooled reserve the water of boiled black gram.
  3. Wash the basmati rice and cook in a pressure cooker with two cup of water after three whistle turn off the flame
  4. Heat clarified butter in a pan,add whole garam masala to crackle.
  5. Now add chopped onion and saute till slightly brown,add ginger garlic and mix well.
  6. Add tomato and saute for 2 - 3 mins,add coriander powder,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and two tbsp water and mix well.
  7. Now add boiled black gram and mix well,add reserve water of black gram and cook for 4 - 5 mins in a medium flame,
  8. Add green chill,boiled rice and salt and mix well.
  9. Serve hot with paneer makhani
  10. For paneer makhani - Boil chopped onion,tomato,ginger and garlic with one cup of water for five mins,once cooled to make a paste.
  11. Heat ghee in a pan add whole garam masala to crackle,add onion and tomato paste and saute until oil leaves the pan.
  12. Now add coriander powder,red chilli powder and turmeric powder and two tsp water and mix well.
  13. Add one cup of water and bring to boil,once boiled add the paneer cubes,salt and sugar and cook for five mins and turn off the flame.
  14. Serve hot with kala chana pulao
