Instructions to make Puran puri:
  1. Mix maida, rawa, salt, ghee and make a dough using little warm water and keep aside for 1 hour
  2. Make both dal boil well and grind to make a fine paste
  3. Then take a dish add a tablespoon of ghee to it and pour dals halwa to it start stirring it in low flame
  4. Then add sugar, cardamom powder, food colour, raisins, saffron strands
  5. Do it till it’s nice thick for stuffing now this is done
  6. Let’s take the maida dough and do it more soft kneedig it
  7. Then start making nice puris roll each small peda and add one teaspoon halwa and then apply very little water with ur finger around it lock the puri
  8. Once all stuffings are done start deep frying and golden colour is good then u can store in a container as well for a week

The puran which is made with a mixture of boiled mashed chana dal cooked with jaggery and cardamom powder melts as it hits your tongue. With a dollop of ghee or toop as it is known in Marathi.
